May 28th, 2004, PALMETTO BREEZE is both fast and spacious.
Cruise through the lowcountry tributaries to find diverse wildlife unique
to this salt marsh environment. See wildlife including bottlenose dolphin,
egrets, herons, alligators, osprey, pelicans, shrimp, crabs, fish and
other species inhabiting the salt marsh. Learn about the coastal process
shaping these dynamic sand islands.
Here
is a chance to enjoy sailing PALMETTO BREEZE’s deck of over 1700
square feet or in her enclosed cockpit seating, while learning about marine
biology. Guests will learn about the barrier island and salt marsh ecosystems.
Your guide can tailor your charter tour to meet a variety of interests
and knowledge levels.
Depending on your group, different topics will be discussed such as: Spartina
grass and its roll, plant/animal species identification, oyster bed communities,
species diversity, marsh hammock ecology, geology of the salt marsh, and
the importance of the salt marsh to humans and the Atlantic Ocean.
PALMETTO BREEZE is available
for private charters days and evenings. U.S. Coast Guard Inspection currently
allows 49 guests plus crew. This Inspection number should be increased
to allow 100 guests shortly.
PALMETTO BREEZE Harbor Sunset Sail
Board Charleston’s ultimate sailing catamaran and set sail to see
all the historic sites from the water! Launched in May, PALMETTO BREEZE
is both fast and spacious. Relax on her deck of over 1700 sq. ft. or in
her covered cockpit, and experience spectacular views of Forts Moultrie
and Sumter, Castle Pinckney, the USS Yorktown, the Charleston city skyline,
and all the breathtaking wildlife of the low country.

Lowcountry heritage comes to life with renowned history teacher and Charleston

PALMETTO BREEZE Island Barbeque
Set sail aboard the stable catamaran PALMETTO BREEZE and take in all the
Charleston Harbor has to offer as you make your way to Morris Island for
an island Barbeque. PALMETTO BREEZE glides up on the beach and you walk
down our bow stairway to explore Morris Island. Take a swim on the beach
or a stroll on the beach and return to the boat for lunch and beverages,
then sail back to the marina. (10am-2pm, Sat., Charleston Harbor Marina

GRATUITY
Crew Gratuity is not included. Customary consideration is 16% of the total
charter fee.
PLEASE INQUIRE FOR ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS.
Catering, alternate boarding sites, golfing/boating packages as well as
additional provisioning available for all vessels; rate quotes available
upon request.

FOR YOUR COMFORT
We recommend you bring sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, camera, long-sleeves,
deck shoes and a good attitude! During winter months we recommend you
bring the same as above, but be sure to dress in layers for the weather.
You can always discard clothing! The captain might ask that guests remove
shoes that have dark soles, so deck shoes or bare feet are recommended.

Fees vary depending on boat size and number of passengers.
CATERING
Catering options available upon request. No charge for catering secured
through AquaSafaris. A galley fee may apply for outside catering. Outside
caterer must contact AquaSafaris 7 (seven) days prior to charter date
for briefing. Please remember that you are always welcome to bring aboard
your own food and drinks.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
AquaSafaris, Inc. requires a 50% deposit to confirm your charter. We accept
credit cards, traveler’s checks, cashiers checks and money orders
for the 50% deposit. Please note that credit cards are accepted for the
50% deposit ONLY. Balance is due upon boarding directly to the Captain
in cash, traveler’s check or certified check (check made payable
to your boat). Cash is always preferred for gratuity. We cannot accept
personal or company checks unless received ten (10) days in advance of
the charter. All deposits are full refundable if weather causes cancellation
of your charter. Said cancellation is at the sole discretion of the Captain.
If YOU cancel the charter, no refund applies. If you reschedule, your
deposit will apply to your new charter date.
